Meetings
These are held on the 1st Tuesday of every month at: -
Meeting start at 7.30pm and are in a private room
Every body is welcome to attend the meetings, the only condition is that after attending 3 meetings you are asked to join the region if you have not already done so (to join the region you must be a member of The Pike Anglers Club of Great Britain).
The Region
These two regions are being run as a single club, with joint meetings, trips and events. The region started in September 2001 and has around 30 members, who all seam very active in all aspects of pike fishing. Waters fished by the members cover Yorkshire, The Lakes District and Scotland, from bank and boat with lures and baits.
There is a yearly subscription of £5.00 (£2.50 for juniors) and all members must be members of the Pike Anglers Club of Great Britain. Any body who is not a member of the PAC or the Region will be welcomed to the meetings, you can get the feel of the club and then you can decide if you want to join.
It is the Clubs ambition over time, to get its own water and boat when the funds are available. The club will also lobby any local clubs that don't have pike friendly policies, and try to educate them and create an environment in which pike are valued, both as a sporting fish and a necessary part of the management and ecology of fresh waters.
Keep an eye on this page for details of the region, as it developes.
