Beaches

Wide but sheltered bay, sandy beach and the many rock pools make Mawgan Porth ideal for families. The water is popular with both family swimmers and surfers and is patrolled by lifeguards. There are two car parks close to the beach, plus cafes, shops, toilets and Pitch & Putt.

North of Mawgan Porth, and close to Trevose Head, Constantine is a wide sandy bay backed with dunes. Just 11 miles from Bryn, this beach has many rockpools that are exposed at low tide. Toilets and shops are nearby and the carpark is 300m from the beach.

Just over 10 miles away and in an area of geological interest, Trevone Bay is another beautiful sandy beach with rock pools at low tide. It has lifeguard patrols during the summer and a car park, café and toilets close to the beach.

A very popular beach with surfers, Watergate Bay has lifeguard patrols, toilets, café and surf-hire facilities. With its mile-long of sand, it is an excellent beach for a long breath-taking walk! 11 miles from St. Wenn.

A beautiful, west-facing bay, Fistral has world renown for its national and international surfing championships, held each year. Surfers, locals and holiday makers all gather when the surf is ‘up’ to enjoy the waves or watch others ride the surf. Surf lessons and equipment hire, cafes, toilets and different festivals and events happen throughout the season.
