Bread recipes

The following recipes are for use in bread making machines. We have a Morphy Richards, and it's the best toy ever.

Recipe Methods

All of the following recipes use this same general method.

  1. tsp=teaspoon
    tbsp=tablespoon
  2. Measure ingredients into baking pan.
  3. Use tepid water 21-28°C.
  4. Insert baking pan securely into unit, close lid.
  5. Select appropriate bread setting.
  6. Push start button.
  7. When bread is done, remove pan from unit using oven mitts.
  8. Remove bread from baking pan, (and kneading blade from bread if necessary).
  9. Allow bread to cool before slicing.
  10. The quick setting reduces the bake time, but may result in a shorter loaf.

This method is modified by notes, if applicable, at the end of each recipe.
