Why Join?
Joining this club lets you learn how to snorkel and snorkel well. We will take you from your first dip in the pool to your first open water snorkel. During your time in the club you will have ample oppurtunity to make friends and learn new skills not just snorkelling but also skills from rope work to lifesaving. As a member you will be privilidged to have instructors that were once in the same place as you who want to teach you and enjoy every minute.
Can I Join?
The minimum entry requirements are as below:
- 6 Years old
- 100 metre swim on front, any style (approx. 4 lengths)
- 50 metre swim on back (approx. 2 length)
- Float for one minute on back
- Hold breath for a minimum of 15 seconds
- Pick up a pool brick from 6 foot deep whilst treading water
This is a PASS or FAIL test, and is completed for safety reasons.
So really theres nothing holding you back from joining
