Halloween Monster Splash 2002

Another fine chance to get our Halloween kit on and go for some water based horror.

We had the party early this year due to a planned sponsored snorkel occurring a week later for our new club charity. As always there was apple bobbing, trick or treating at the shallow end and of course the ever popular glow sticks.

Sandy was again able to provide us with an excellent sound system, and we spent the evening having fun and games, listening to the Time Warp and the themes from The Munsters and The Adams Family.

The trick or Treating went down very well. Although I'm sure that your not really supposed to eat and swim at the same time. There were loads of sweets to be had. All sorts of flavours and colours they were really yummy. Mind you, there weren't any left for the instructors which was a bit of a shame. The pool was really messy afterwards but everyone helped to clean it all up before the end. Everyone's costumes were really good, but we had to take them off before getting in the water. Still, they could then be saved to be used on the 31st, seeing as we were a week early. All in all it was a great night.

I can't wait for next year!
