Career Summary

Since graduating in 1977, I have been employed within the telecommunications industry. I have an excellent track record in successful project/team leadership, hardware/system design & development, and test equipment development.

In September 2001, I joined a specialist silicon design house where, as Test and Validation Manager, I was responsible for all aspects of ASIC design validation. This was an exciting, challenging, and successful period and, during my short time there, I coordinated and oversaw a very intense and successful design proving exercise. I also began to formulate a detailed strategy for the next generation of advanced switching fabric devices.

Although recently performing a test management role, I nevertheless have a great deal of experience in hardware design, project management, and operations (electronics manufacturing test) related fields, and my customers and suppliers have been many and various. I consider myself fortunate in that I have been able to nurture the majority of my projects through the full product development lifecycle from specification to successful implementation and support. I also believe that producing comprehensive technical documentation is key to achieving successful projects, and this also is one of my key strengths.

I have always proven myself to be conscientious, reliable and very hard working.
