Set in the beautiful countryside of the Peak District National Park, Moorfield Lodge, Garden Flat and Old Billiard Room are part of a large country mansion built in 1861 by a local family who made their fortune from cotton. With the hills of Kinder Scout and Bleaklow as a backdrop, these properties are modern but sympathetic conversions of buildings that form part of the quiet and secluded country residence of Moorfield. Occupants are welcome to enjoy the extensive landscaped grounds and with Susan and Glenn living in the main house, help and advice is constantly on hand should it be required. Lettings in all properties can be of any length and may commence on any day of the week. All properties are non-smoking although smoking outside is not restricted and some covered areas are available. Pets are accepted only by prior arrangement. |
