Liskeard to North Tawton
Distance 43 Average speed 8mph
Considering the terrain and wind I feel very pleased with the average speed since I was in bottom gear on the flat across Dartmoor and had to pedal downhill which is not on particularly after slogging up hill through Mary Tavy. The wind on the flat threatoned to blow me off my bike as it must have been around force 8 and blustery.
Reaching Okehampton by 5PM I decided to ring ahead to book a nights accommodation this was a further 10 miles up the road and I eventually reached my overnight accommodation at 7PM
