Day 4
North Tawton to Clayhidon
Distance 39.32 Average 9mph
The weather is very much better today with sunny and warmed up nicely as the day passed. The route to Tavistock as shown below had a couple of walking type hills which where difficult to push the bike up.
Sttoped at down St Mary for supplies including the essential pint of milk. Also knock on G4NDG for some water as both the milk and water had been used before entering Tiverton. Thje ride from Tiverton was along the Clum Valley and provided a flat ride "allmost" flat for a change without any wind. This changed as I approached Clayhidon as the road goes throuh the village of Rosemary lane and rising by 800 feet by Clayhidon the last 100 feet defeated me ande I had to walk.
