I am very pleased with this ride since it rained on and off most of the day and the road from Betsy was mainly uphill for many miles.
Just before Ruthin I stopped and spoke to a Mr Taylor who was out wood gathering and was promptly invited to his house for tea, which was most welcome.
The views of the Welsh border area when the sun was sinning are worth the effort of riding up to the view points along the way.
The rear brake blocks are wearing and a bike shop was open today Sunday in Chester where I purchased the last pair in stock at a knock down price of £5.00!!!
Finding a place to stop for the night was not so easy as previously and I have ended up in a floating Hotel. Quite why they have made a floating hotel in Northwich I am not sure.
