Delightful when the sun shone on the mountains which have a light dusting of snow, also the occassions when the wind is behind and lastly when the journies end is in sight.
Dreadful when the wind blow the hail and icy rain in your face and all the roads seem to go up, even when they are down hill, since at times the wind means you have to pedal downhill as well as up, On the summit of Ranoch moor the rain stoped and the sun shone just as I was taking a photo of the summit sign and the road was mostly down hill to Glen Coe for many miles.
