The ride out from Fredies was less difficult than I had expectwed partly since Fredie took all the panniers. The ride to town was dry, but by the time I had loaded all the panniers the rain had started and was the first of many showers during the day.
The B roads where very quite compared with the A82 of yesterday. Just as my total milage reached 1,000 miles the road stopped, well the road bridge over the Calidonian canal received it 6 monthly service. From Fort Augsta I took the B862 and B852
