A lover of nature Mira Vujovic has been developing her theoretical knowledge of health-boosting properties of herbs and plants for several decades. Together with Nikola she started gathering mountain herbs to use in teas and as food supplements mixed with garden herbs. Over many years she perfected her drying and preparation techniques. Herbs are picked by hand, dried in the sun, prepared and mixed, the exact method depending on the species. All the products are completely natural.
As the fame of Mira's herbal products spread beyond the extended family and friends she started producing more; however she still produces only limited quantities, for her regular customers and exhibitions she takes pat in. She has been awarded a Montenegrin Government grant to develop her production but she did not wish to develop into a 'production line' operation, believing that the quality and purity of the products may suffer. ORGANIC HERBS FOR SAVOURY DISHES
Aromatic,
tasty and healing these herbs aid digestion, help prevent acid formation
and bloating and improve circulation - thus helping regulate blood
pressure. They have calming properties and help eliminate headaches caused
by indigestion. They aid healing of mouth ulcers caused by bad stomach
bacteria
and have been known to improve colitis caused by celiac factors.
The mixture can also calm allergic or asthmatic cough. The mixture
includes herbs which act as natural expectorants. Because they can improve
circulation they can be useful to arthritis and rheumatism sufferers, as
well as those who have high blood cholesterol. 'Mira' herbs were tested
