Gibbs Gears has implemented a real-time scheduler from Seiki Systems. It will interrogate the MRP data, and it will establish the setup time, the production time and the number of parts for each job, then calculate the total production time.

With this new system Gibbs Gears will not only be able to see the manufacturing status in real time, but can also make predictive decisions and solve problems that could occur in a few days' time
