Dear Mr Taylor

I acknowledge receipt of your letters of 5 and 28 August. Your letters and the contents of your current website reiterate the previous allegations made by you. Your letter and your website contain defamatory information and comments about the Federation and certain of its officers.

You are fully aware that an independent accountant carried out an investigation following your earlier allegations of financial impropriety in particular in connection with the Staffs and West Midlands Region. You are also aware that the findings of that report did not substantiate your allegations. Furthermore, allegations made by you to West Midlands Police Fraud Squad were also found by the Fraud Squad to be without substance. You appear to question that the accountant who carried out the investigation was independent. I also understand that you have lodged a complaint against the manner in which the Police carried out their investigation. Presumably, in both cases you are dissatisfied because the independent accountant and the Police failed to provide you with the answer that you required.

I note that you are continuing to collude with others in your efforts to undermine the reputation and standing of the Federation and certain of its officers.

I do not intend to enter into any further correspondence with you. You should, however, note that the Federation on behalf of itself and its officers reserves its position in respect of the continuing defamatory comments which you have published on your website and may take action against you or the service provider in respect of the material currently on your site or any further material which appears on your site without further notice to you.

Observations and Comments by Hubert Taylor

Some points raised in John Emmins' letter:

the only complainant was Hubert Taylor - not true

that an independent accountant was independently appointed to conduct an investigation - not true.
According to the Police the appointment was made by David Dexter whom a number of people claim to be a main miscreant.

that Hubert Taylor fully aware of finding of accountant - not true
Hubert Taylor has not seen a copy of the so-called independent report. When he asked for a copy of the report Hubert Taylor was informed that the report was confidential.

So, the report which as you imply, laid no blame upon anyone nor the FSB, was withheld as confidential?

So an 'independent acountant' appointed by David Dexter reported, as you imply, no fault aginst FSB?

Mr Emmins, you and your fellow FSB directors must think that everyone, bar yourselves, are fools that are open to deception.

the West Midlands Police are investigating a complaint about the conduct of its investigation - true.

that Hubert Taylor is colluding with others to undermine the reputation of the FSB - not true.
Hubert Taylor's actions are open, honest and aimed at undoing damage done by the misonduct of certain FSB directors and officers. If there is collusion it perhaps lies in the secretative, bullying conduct of FSB affairs and the conduct of certain of its directors and officers.

sadly John Emmins (and by implication his directors) refuse to correspond with Hubert Taylor. Hubert Taylor's campaign to restore his standing and rid the FSB of certain unscrupulous directors and officers has to go on separately with the support of those who have a similar objective.

the letter implies that the allegations of misconduct of FSB affairs, including financial fraud, by Hubert Taylor and others are groundless. - not true.
It is known that hundreds of pounds of FSB funds has been misappropriated and thousands mismanaged. It is suspected that over the past two decades millions have been use without proper constitutional authority and control. In the end the miscreants will be exposed by diligent investigation and the perseverance of Hubert Taylor and others.

there is an implication by John Emmins that he and his directors are searching for an opportunity to spend even more FSB members funds on lawyers fees to seek to muzzle voices of opposition against misconduct of FSB affairs. It is not clear that the directors have constitutional/legal authority to spend FSB funds in defending indefensible misconduct by certain of their director colleagues and other FSB officers.

there is an implication by John Emmins that he and his directors are searching for an opportunity to spend even more FSB members funds to mount further assaults upon Hubert Taylor's internet service providers (ISP).

Hubert Taylor challenges John Emmins and his fellow directors to persuade FSB members to authorise them to finance a proper judicial examination of the allegations of fraud and maladministration aimed at the conduct of FSB affairs.

finally, John Emmins claims that the FSB and certain of it officers have been defamed by the contents of Hubert Taylor's website (this website for one). - not true

the individuals named by Hubert Taylor are defamed by their own actions and/or omissions. Those acts and omissions bring the FSB into disrepute and does serious damage to Hubert Taylor and to other individuals.
