Two No-Confidence Motions Trumped Up In 3 Months

FSB Director and Company Secretary David Dexter's colluded in two trumped-up no-confidence motions against honorary Regional Secretary Hubert Taylor; 21 Jul 99 and 20 Oct 99.

David Dexter was present at the FSB Staffordshire and West Midlands region committee meeting when the second no-confidence motion was trumped-up by Don Anslow.

Their aim was to improperly removed Hubert Taylor from office for 'blowing the whistle' upon alleged fraud and deceptions by David Dexter, Don Anslow, and others.

Fraud Allegations

Don Anslow had been openly accused by Hubert Taylor, of being party to a fraudulent 'lease/licence' of an sham office to the FSB for use as an FSB regional office. The alleged fraud also involved; David Dexter, Mrs Kate Anslow (regional secretary), Gerald Godby (FSB director and regional chairman)

Don Anslow was also accused by Hubert Taylor of claiming illegitimate expense reimbursements from FSB funds, along with; Kate Anslow, Gerald Godby, and Bernard Juby (past FSB director and national chairman).

None of the above allegations were thought by David Dexter and his FSB director colleagues. Yet Hubert Taylor's actions warranted summary expulsion from office by a 'kangaroo court' with the proper laying of charges and a fair hearing.

Questions Which Beg Answers

  • Why did David Dexter as FSB Company Secretary not draw the regional committee's attention to the fact that a second such motion within three months, contradicted the FSB's standing orders?

  • Did David Dexter have a vested interest in conniving with the several members of the regional committee whom Hubert Taylor alleged were, along with David Dexter himself, origins of financial and/or administrative malpractice within the FSB?

  • Why did David Dexter not insist that written charges be laid and a proper and fair disciplinary examination of the facts conducted, before removing Hubert Taylor, from the office of Honorary Regional Secretary; a position to which he had been democratically elected by FSB members at a regional annual general meeting?

  • Is it not David Dexter who should be examined on a charge of moral and administrative fraud?
