Don Anslow Contrary to laid down safeguards which should be enforced by the FSB Company Secretary, the National Treasury Committee and the FSB Head of Administration, Don Anslow (pictured) and Mrs Kate Anslow, were allowed to charge the FSB for a regional office which was infact their own business office. At the time Mr Anslow was the FSB Regional Treasurer and Mrs Anslow the Regional Secretary.   For a time Mr Anslow was also an FSB director/shadow director Questions of Fraud and Avoidance of General Rates The so-called office was not known to the Inland Revenue District Valuer, and was not on the Walsall Metropolitan Borough Council rating list. So how could the Anslows charge rent inclusive of 'reasonable rates'? The Walsall Metropolitan Borough Council and the Inland Revenue said to be aware of the situation . The matter has also been formally report to the West Midlands Police Fraud Squad. In July 2001 the Police were again approached with a view to inviting them to take a closer look for indictable offenecs. FSB Director And ex-National Chairman Aware 'Sham' Office Location Bernard Juby Past FSB Director and National Chairman, Bernard Juby (pictured) and then FSB director, Gerald Godby, were both aware of the letting in question, but obviously failed spot and to report the irregularities. Indeed Mr Godby's domestic appliance business sold several hundre pounds of office equipment to the FSB for use at the office; some of which he also use from his home base!  Did Mr Godby declare a financial interest to his fellow directors when the funding of the transaction was approved by them?  Was the transaction indeed approved? Two Relevant Questions To Be Asked! Why has the FSB, through its 'finance director' Gordon Catto (pictured) and Treasurer Committee not installed audit systems to monitor for, and detect and properly investigate, possible misuse of FSB members' funds?! Why, was the FSB 'finance director' Gordon Catto so hostile to the FSB members who made him aware of possible fraud, when he new that he had not installed adequate alternative internal or external audit checks, to safeguard Federation funds?! Gordon Catto Heavy Blanket Placed On The Whole Affair By FSB Company Secretary David Dexter David Dexter Did David Dexter (pictured) have his tongue in his cheek and his fingers crossed when he stated in a memo that the 'Federation solicitor' had dealt with the matter of the lease of the 'office'; or does David have more than one tongue? David Dexter should stop prevaricating and act with integrity, and so cease to bring the FSB into disrepute by his deliberate actions and omissions. While David Dexter conveniently refuses to release accurate administrative facts, which as FSB Company Secretary (and National Secretary) , as it is his legal duty to do, a member has been expelled from the FSB without having had a hearing, let alone an open and fair examination of the facts. If there is nothing to hide then please bear the cupboard. By refusing to disclose full and simple facts of these matters, David Dexter puts his reputation at risk, by his very own actions. Let us hope that FSB Company Secretary David Dexter does not think that he is above the law and justice, simply because he has at 'his' disposal for personal legal support, the millions of pounds of members funds held by the FSB.
