The pictures on this page illustrate the changes that have taken place up to 13 March 1999. As you will see, things moved on a pace since our visit on 6th March. The shell is due to be moved to Droitwich for fit out on 23 March.

The cabin is all but complete. The two 16 inch portholes have been cut out but the windows and side doors have yet to be cut. The side windows are to be curved top with an opening hopper at the top and sliding panes below. The handrails are concealed along the top edge of the cabin and have built in finger grips.

The stern is looking good after much debate about how high it should be above the side deck.
(it is 15 inches above).

The rear seat will just fit below the start of the curved section.

A Bit of Detail

The bow has a mooring bollard each side.

Jim has inset the fittings for three fenders each side just below the top rubbing strake.
