Pulp. From Sheffield. Sex City. And yes, that probably explains why My Legendary Girlfriend is such a bottomless pit of seething sauciness. This version was recorded live with a so-called friend of the group whining his little head off at the front. A uniquely tense performance.

On the reverse side we have Sickly Grin (complete with tape deterioration) from 1982, and a fine rocker called Back In L.A. from 1985, where Pulp let off steam after the miserabilism of the Freaks LP.
