James Dodds
James Dodds was born in the East coast fishing town of Brightlingsea. Originally training as a shipwright in Maldon, James went on to study painting at Chelsea, later gaining a Masters at the Royal College of Art, London.
James' panoramic prints of coastal towns are highly regarded, with Great Yarmouth having recently won the 'Best Print in Show' at the Eastern Open, Kings Lynn, 2006.
Church Street Gallery offers a large range of his signed prints, illustrated books, cards and postcards.
James currently lives and works in Wivenhoe on the Essex coast.
