Not the usual 'how to fish' text, but a collection of fishing tales from Gammon's travels around the world; half fishing book, half travel book. A pleasure to read, there are twenty varied chapters. I particularly like the tales from Czechoslovakia and the Falkland Islands, and most of all the chapter entitled 'Trout and Truffles on the Tarn'. |
