To showcase my stuff or at least, any of it that doesn't fit anywhere else.
I'm an artist, living in the wilds of Cambridgeshire, in the UK. When I say artist, I don't mean a popular beat music combo, I mean somebody who draws stuff. I write stuff too..... and every now and again, if I'm really lucky, people pay me.
You'll see this site isn't finished yet. It's a spare time project so you'll have to give me a bit of slack, I'm afraid. It will develop slowly though, over the course of 2007
Here's what I do...
I do two kinds of illustration, name art and straightforward illustration - greetings cards, books etc. Both are in pen and ink. My illustration is shown here... or at least, it will be soon. The names are on a special website, if you want to have a look click just here.
I do two kinds of writing - nothing like a bit of continuity. This site is for the creative stuff. I also write corporate puff. In fact, ifyou want some corporate puff written I'm a good person to choose. If you want somebody to write you some comic fantasy fiction I'm a good bet, too although you're unlikely to want that until I have become famous for doing something else first. Stranger things have happened. Watch this space...
I write poetry as well. Comic verse. If I could carry a tune without heavy plant I'd write songs and be a Billy Connoly style stand up person... only with a bit (but not much) less swearing. I used to do stand up without the music. I learned a lot from this, the main lesson being that it was best I sat down. So I did.
If you like poems that make you chuckle take a gander. As you will see I like to cover really important subjects like, train journeys, scotch eggs... that kind of thing.
