These versatile machines combine many unique features to give a performance that will solve your mixing problems and save you the expense of modifying your storage facilities. These stirrers/ agitators/ whisks have been developed from my practical experience whilst mixing clients' stores. The stirrers are very adaptable and can be used for mixing any liquid /fibrous mixture as there are no vulnerable submerged bearings. They all use the same patented rotating drive tube and multi stage impellor system, to rapidly homogenize chemicals, sediments, powders, crusts etc. This stirrer is a must for umbilical systems as they harmlessly collect string on the tube, saving blocked pumps and downtime. They are mechanically simple and easy to service. All bearings and most parts are standard and metric. The stirrers illustrated here are the agricultural models. They can be adapted for other trades to suit your conditions and power requirement. |

With all MIX IT machines the crust, however thick and fibrous, circulates freely past the rotating tube unimpeded by stationary framework saving your valuable mixing time and energy (Money). Note the auger and impellor slicing and pulverising the freely circulating crust. |

Stores with thick weedy crusts are no problem for the rotating tube and auger. The auger allows the tube to cut through thick weedy crusts and access the liquid below (unlike conventional stirrers with their stationary framework which sit on top). The tele stirrer is shown working in this semi submerged tank demonstrating it's ability to cope with any height situations. |

Stirring times are significantly reduced. All the advantages of the Mixit design are present. This stirrer, with its trip hinge feature, can be used both as an under-slat stirrer, and a lagoon stirrer (see lagoon stirrer details above). It is designed to replace the complicated, expensive pumps presently used to stir under slats. It is hugely quicker, and gives you lump free slurry in both lagoons and under-slats.
When used under slats the tractor end of the tube is released from the frame, then the frame is lifted with the tractor's hydraulics. The tube assembly can now articulate on its hinge to a steep angle, which allows the tube to be inserted into the access hole. Once the tube and impeller are through the access hole, the tractor is reversed slowly back and the frame lowered to allow the tube to be re-clamped to the frame ready for use. The PTO (star tube) is then connected to the 1 3/4 drive. When an auger is fitted on the tube it will significantly reduce mixing times with under-slat tanks that use dividing walls to circulate the tank's contents, as the crust can pass, unimpeded by framework, to the impeller. Assistance is preferable when feeding an auger in to tanks with a small access hole. The standard length of the dual purpose machine is 5m/17ft. but machines can be to any length. A simpler, cheaper, Mixit under-slat stirrer is made without the hinge feature and is generally around 4m/13ft long, and only weighs 150kg. It is inserted under the slats either prior to mounting on the tractor, or before the top link is attached.

Small tanks and reception pits requiring electrical or hydraulic power use the same rotating tube system so sand and grits are no problem. The electrical model uses slow running motors to avoid the use of gearboxes. Impellors are professionally cast to ensure the limited power is used effectively.
