I am a non-commercial hobby breeder whose prime concern is the future well-being of my breeds. My reason for breeding Maltese is to maintain and improve the quality of the exhibits I take to dog shows. I will not jeopardise this philosophy by offering inferior stock to new homes.
I would not allow a puppy to go to it's new home without first meeting the potential new owner or without that new owner having met the puppy in my home. Every puppy goes to it's new home with a contract designed to protect the puppy and it's future along with some reasonable expectations placed upon myself and the new owners.
When going to their new homes puppies will have had their initial inoculations and a veterinary examination to give an indication of the health of the puppy at the time of that examination.
Remember - A dog is for life and new owners can expect many years of pleasure, devotion and companionship from the new puppy!
