Situated in a quiet rural location on the island of South Ronaldsay, The Old Schoolhouse is a detached stone cottage once the home of the Grimness School janitor of the Grimness School which closed in the mid 60’s. Early in the 90’s the cottage was completely rebuilt and modernised.
There are panoramic views from the property; the North Sea to the East, the island of Burray to the north; Scapa Flow and the island of Hoy to the west.
The spacious cottage has one double and two twin bedrooms. It can accommodate up to six people. A cot is also available on request. The property is centrally heated by storage heaters. There is an open fire in the lounge. The is ample parking space to the side. The garden is enclosed by a dry-stone wall.
Bed linen and towels are provided. Electricity is included.
Other amenities include a colour TV with digital channels; automatic washing machine; bath with shower; fridge/freezer; dishwasher and microwave.
