The experienced Ladies 3rd XI dribbled onto the pitch despite extremely cold weather, but what else could we expect from the determined & committed Ladies 3rd XI?

Staines 3rds were slightly top heavy on the forward line with Nicks as our new centre forward who did an excellent job "hovering" around the goal posts of the opposition in anticipation of passing balls from the dynamic forward and half line.

Goals were defended very deftly by another "borrowed" goalie - colts goalie, David!

Those are the finer details of the first half, cold, many creaking of bones or was it the frozen pitch? At the half time breather our second wind was kicked in with a little aid by the delicious mulled wine brought on by our "very close to 40 something" Linda! Thanks!! This naturally caused a little bit of fuzziness in the second half however, Linda, Jo, Jude and Lis managed to score some wonderful goals for us giving us a 4 - 3 lead!!!
