There was no game for the Ladies 5th XI this week due to lack of players/injuries in the higher teams. So the 5's supported the Ladies 2's and 4's in their last crucial league matches and by all accounts they coped very well at the higher levels - well done girls! Hopefully this will give them a taste of things to come. My thanks also goes to Heather Howell who umpired the L4's. Unfortunately this was the 3rd week that L5's game was cancelled. Unfortunately next season we loose Carolyn Doherty who is returning to the USA - Carolyn's game has improved so much and we will really miss her in defence Also Sammy Munn will be leaving us to move Cornwall and will be playing for Truro HC.

Anyway, the final position for the Ladies 5's in the league was 3rd - behind Sunbury (2nd) and Teddington (1st). This is a fantastic achievement for their 1st season in the league and they are looking forward to next season already.
