Stoke played well and should have been 3 or 4 goals to the good when Webber scored an undeserved and late equaliser for the visitors after Skoko had put Stoke in front. 05/12/05 Stoke draw non-league Tamworth in the 3rd Round of the FA Cup. A potentially tricky clash as the opponents have already seen off two League sides to reach this stage
03/12/05 Disappointment at home agains as Stoke completely outplay QPR only to lose 2-1. A set piece and a dreadful display of refereeing cost them dear, as John Halls sees red. Even with 10 men the Potters are the better team, but cannot kill off a cynical QPR side. Bangoura nets yet again, and the game is marred by a melee at the end following a fan attacking the visitor's keeper
26/11/05 The Potters continue their decent away record with their 6th away win of the season, against Sheffield Wednesday. Not a brilliant performance, but the extra quality in the Stoke side proved decisive as Bangoura and Sidibe scored the goals in a 2-0 win
22/11/05 Despite playing Derby off the park for long periods of the game, Stoke's dominance can only produce a Bangoura goal, and the visitors conduct a smash and grab raid to win 2-1 at the Britannia

05/11/05 The Potters put in a decent home display to beat Brighton 3-0. A relatively poor first half was lit up by a fine goal from Bangoura. A better second half saw Stoke comfortable winners with Russell netting, and a second from Bangoura.
