General info on Associated SC10 trucks

Associated SC10 Truck

September 2009 we have started running Associated SC10 short circuit trucks as a new class, these big, light rear wheel drive cars look fantastic, and run well on the off road circuit developed for truck races.

More info to be added soon, but the intention is to run the SC10s as close to kit standard as possible, so battery/motors will be free choice (Nimh/Lipo, brushed or brushless), but we ask people to stick to kit wheels/tires/suspension to avoid costs escalating.

The trucks look fantastic, and seem to be robust, and we have plenty of interest so hopefully this will be a successful new class to replace or possibly run alongside 1/18 trucks we have been running since 2002.

SC10 Rules

Our general guidance and preference is to run all cars as close to standard as possible, however reliability upgrades (stronger parts which give no performance advantage, or simple home made modifications will always be permitted.

The points will be scored across all finishing cars, with 25 points to the A final winner, dropping a point for each place through the rest of the finishers. FTD will gain 1 bonus point.
