	Primula Allionii x BROXBOURNE	Discovered in the greenhouse of K. R. Wooster's father. Produces large flat pin-eyed flowers that age well, which together with its late flowering habit makes for an excellent show variety.
	Primula Allionii x CLARENCE ELLIOTT	Joe Elliott raised this cross between Primula Allionii and White Linda Pope in 1982.

	Primula Allionii x Marginata MARGARET	From a cross between Primula Allionii and Primula Marginata. Raised by G. H. Berry in 1939. A slow doer not easy to grow but well worth the trouble!
	Primula Allionii x MOONLIGHT	Yellow hybrid raised by Margaret Earle.
	Primula Allionii x PINK AIRE	Raised by Peter Lister.
	Primula Allionii x SAPPHIRE	Raised by Frank Shipston. Later flowering than most allionii hybrids and is therefore a regular visitor to the show bench around the end of April.
	Primula AURICULA	With Primula Hirsuita one of the ancestors of all the florist auriculas.

	Primula DARIALICA	Found in the Caucacus growing in moist shaded rocky crevices.
	Primula FRONDOSA	Found in Bulgaria growing in rocky crevices.
	Primula HIRSUITA	One of the original parents that with Primula Auricula after many generation has produced all the pubescens hybrids and the border,double, alpine and show auriculas.
	Primula Marginata CLEAR'S VARIETY	Good for showing this form should perhaps be correctly called CLARES VARIETY.
	Primula Marginata DWARF FORM	A readily available distinct form of primula marginata.
	Primula Marginata F. W. FORM	A rich purple form of primula marginata.
	Primula Marginata HOLDEN VARIETY	A marginata form that is sometimes (incorrectly) listed as Holden's Variety or Holden Clough. Raised by Richard Milne-Redhead of Holden Clough Nursery, it won a RHS Award of Merit when shown by Will Ingwersen.
	Primula Marginata JENKIN'S VARIETY	Sometimes listed as Dr. Jenkins'.
	Primula Marginata KESSELRINGS	Also called Kesselring's Variety and considered indistinguishable from Primula Marginata Prichard's Variety.
	Primula Marginata SHIPTON	Also called Shipton Form and notable for its frilly flowers.
	Primula Marginata x GORDON	Bred by John Mercer, from a cross between Bewerly White and EL Bolton.
	Primula Marginata x MAUVE MIST	Ashwood hybrid from open pollinated Drake's Form, that as part of a NAPS display at Loughborough was awarded an RHS Certificate of Priliminary Commendation.
	Primula Marginata x PAMELA	Rare marginata hybrid of excellent quality.
	Primula Marginata x PHILLIP	Bred by John Mercer.
	Primula Marginata x RHENANIANA	Probably a primula marginata hybrid originally found in the wild.
	Primula MINIMA ALBA	Alpine primula from northern Italy. The white form is much rarer than the pink.
	Primula PEDEMONTANA ALBA	Found only in small areas of Spain and Italy and rarely in this white form.
	Primula PEDEMONTANA ALBA X HIRSUTA	Bred by Keith Leeming.
	Primula PEDEMONTANA X HIRSUTA	Bred by Dave Richards.
	Primula SCOTICA	Found in the very north of Scotland and in the Orkneys near the sea. Often shown as a group of plants to a small pan due to the species diminutive size. Short lived in cultivation, so save seed to ensure an adequate supply of replacements.

	Primula x RUFUS	A pubescens variety normally shown in the Primula Classes but sometimes shown as a Border Auricula. A good vigorous plant suitable for the novice grower.
