The committee continues to play a major part in the success of the club, giving up their own time to ensure that the club continues to grow from strength to strength. Throughout the year the committee meet around eight times to organise various races, social events and fund raising events. The first event of the year is the Tom Scott Road Race which is a 10 mile race from Law to Motherwell and is held in early April. This usually attracts a high quality field due to the excellent course and extensive prize list. During the summer months a Race Night usually takes place to raise funds for the club, these funds normally being used to transport athletes to many parts of the country. At the end of November the annual Dance/Presentation Night takes place. With over £500 worth of trophies to be collected, this is probably the highlight of the year for many of the youngsters as they are rewarded for their efforts throughout the year. Finally, December proves a very busy month with both the Christmas Pudding Relays and the Annual Prize draw taking place. The Christmas Pudding Relays is a fun event which brings the whole club together with festive goodies being handed out to everyone at the finish. The day is rounded off with the Prize Draw being made, this being the main fund raiser of the year. The committee for the year 2004/2005 is as follows
