There was a slight drop in appearances in the rankings from club members this year with it being left to the regulars to keep the club's name in lights. Alaister Russell made his 10th year in the rankings appearing in no fewer than five events, the 1500m, 3000m, 5000m, 10,000m and 10miles with his highest ranking coming in the 10,000m where he was ranked 6th. He also finished in third place at the National Championships over the 10,000m. Graeme Ferguson continued to shine in the field events making his regular appearance in the Shot Putt, Discus and Hammer. During the season he won the National Indoor Shot Putt, took silver in the outdoor District event and bronze in the Discus at he Districts. Julian Love also continued to impress, picking up the bronze medal in the Youths 200m at the National Championships and a silver in both the 100m and 200m at the Districts. He finished the season ranked 7th and 3rd over the 100m and 200m. Two of the most remarkable appearances came from Andy Brown and Kay Dodson.
