Organist, Douglas Ritchins, opened the concert with a medley of music played on the new Methodist Church organ.

Compere, Lion Alan Denham, introduced the group and band and thanked the programme sponsors, Channel Five Video, Rightway School of Motoring, Edwards the Ophthalmic Opticians and The Jolliffe Arms, for their patronage.

Opening the concert with "Manhattan Skyline", the band provided a rousing start, followed by the lively "Mack and Mable", where they excelled. Old favorites, "Yesterday" and an energetic "South Pacific" ended the first half. "Death and Glory" and new to the bands repertoire, "MacArthur Park" followed. Every ladies favorite, "Bohemian Rhapsody" followed by "The Shepherds Song", the quietest piece of the night. Irving Berlin's, "Lets Face the Music and Dance" completed the programme. The Band's encore and a fine finish to the concert, was "Putting on the Ritz".

Horizon's programme included many popular songs like "All around my Hat", "Be Thou my Vision", "My Fathers Old Sou Wester", "Windmills" and "Dorset is Beautiful". They finished with an excellent song, new to the Lion's concert, "Come by the Hills".

The proceeds of the concert are being donated to The National Autistic Society.
