Supporting the community

Gordon is committed to supporting local organisations, schools and fund-raising events whenever he can.

Recently Keith Bee, the manager of The Bear's Paw in Warmingham contacted Gordon to commission a painting of his hotel. However, when Gordon visited the location, he was also very impressed by the beauty of the local church, which is situated directly opposite the hotel.

The discussions that followed led to an agreement for Gordon to paint a second painting of the church, which would then be auctioned to help kick start the  St Leonard's Church Harvest Fund appeal. Such has been the interest of the parishioners in the auction, that orders are also now being taken for limited edition prints of the church - again with the money raised from sales going directly to the Harvest Fund.
