The Beef we sell is produced from mostly Pure Bred Beef
Herds of Red Devon, Angus, South Devon, Hereford and Galloway
Cattle. Produced by farmers who still use the age old way
of rearing the calves with the cow and then fattening their
cattle on prime pasture lands in the summer, and winter feeding
with home grown hay and cereals. Thus producing what surely
must be one of the most natural and unprocessed foods we eat
today!
All the cattle we use for the shop are chosen by me personally
to ensure maturity and hopefully a good eating quality. Our
cattle are always a little fatter than commercial beef to
produce extra flavour and to enable longer hanging for tenderness.
