Naylor Family
John George Naylor is my Great Grandfather and like the Marshes was born in Sutton.
I have not done any more research on the Naylors, I am concentrating on the
Gerrards but they are rather elusive and almost certainly from outside the area.
The family story says that Thomas Henry Gerrard was brought up by another family,
this is now corroborated by the entry on his marriage certificate
that says his father is "Not Known". I am currently awaiting a copy birth certificate
which MAY be him!
