The team had a day-out at the Soccer Circus on 14th Oct 2006. Here 3 teams of 4 took part in the interactive games and this turned out to be both very competitive and great fun. The boys then met Kevin Keegan and Peter Cormack, who were both great with the boys and gave them quite intensive and skillful training for 45 minutes. | |
The following is a quote from Kevin in the Daily Mail on Sat 18th Nov, 2006. "We have only been open here for six weeks, but I've seen some six, seven and eight year olds who are absolutely fantastic in terms of ability. When you see age groups like that, you tend to do low-key training exercises. But they were so good I had to test them like you wouldn't believe. Some of the kids were from Harmony Row Club in Govan, which I think Sir Alex has something to do with. I have had three or four teams of older kids who were equally talented and the most encouraging aspect was their eagerness to learn." |
