Bound

This movie was made by the same people as "The Matrix", but, (in my humble opinion) is superior as a story and as a film.

It Stars Gina Gershon, Jennifer Tilly, and Joe Pantoliano, who was in the Matrix and is Ralph in the Sopranos.

The plot is simple. Gina and Jennifer come together to rob Joe of 2 Million in used, and slightly soiled, banknotes. The only problem is that the money belongs to the Mafia, and they are on their way to collect it.

Gina is the ex-con thief, Joe is Caesar the mafia soldier, and Jennifer is his moll.

It is tightly written, with ice cool dialogue, and a visual flair which the Wachowski Brothers, would later hone for Matrix.

Scenes worthy of a mention are:

1: Gina Gershons handiwork

2. The shootout in Caeser's apartment (Even more Slow-mo than John Woo)

3. The creation of Polka dot Paint

4. All the twists and turns

5. Toilets (see also The Matrix)

This is a very good, low budget, modern film noir. If you have not seen it, then you should check it out.
