Sunbeams 2nd Birthday

Sunbeams Toddler Group at Monmouth Methodist Church celebrated a second successful year with a birthday party for the 35+ children who attend. The children enjoyed a play session which included a large wooden safari set brought in especially by one of the mums, Helene Gardiner. For craft, the children produced sunshine pictures made of tissue paper on acetate sheets to be put on the windows for the sun to shine through.

After the usual singing time, the children stayed on until 12.30 to give them time to enjoy a great party lunch sitting at a very long table! All the mums generously provided a delicious spread. The centrepiece for the celebration was a fantastic Sunshine cake, created by Liz Ellis, our craft co-ordinator and also cake maker.
