The objectives of this workshop are: -

• To understand the basic features of Medline (Introduction)
• To learn how to construct a systematic search (Search Concepts)
• To apply the above skills in using the PubMed and/or Ovid interfaces to Medline

It is important to read the tutorial on Search Concepts, before tackling either the PubMed or Ovid interface tutorial. The Search Concepts tutorial explains the technique for systematic searching which is then worked through with either the PubMed or the Ovid interface.

This workshop is the third of a series of three held on the 5th July, 2nd August and 13th September 2000.
