Born in 1970 in Edinburgh, John is the driving force behind the day to day running of Deprivo Devianté Productions. He is primarily a Writer and Director, although he has taken time out from his busy schedule to move in front of the camera.

His work has been compared to the early films of Welles and Lean. Although it was him making the comparisons at the time. He is also currently working on the Official Unauthorised Biography of Deprivo Devianté. An extract from the book can be found here.
