"I'm an Army Wife get me out of here!" An event organised on Saturday 7th March by the Wives forum - 33 Bombshells to raise money for comic relief. We raised £700 in sponsors alone and were in the local newspaper. It was really good fun and I was glad to make some friends in the new area.
Most of the girls were wearing C95 - green combats with boots. We looked great when doing Drill on the parade square ; ) Then we went out to the spiny to "cook" our rations for lunch and after lunch we spilt into teams of 5 or 6.
My team went driving on the skid pan land rover first, it was great fun on the go kart course and doing power slides like Miami vice : D We then went for some clay pigeon shooting, which was tricky but fun.
We finished with rock climbing which was really hard! Well done to Janelle and Charlie from our team who both got to the top, hats of to you girls!
