Interview by J:
GOLDBLADE - foxes, tanks and curfews -

Goldblade are Keith Curtis - bass, Rob Haynes - drums,
John Robb - guitar and vocals, Wayne Simmonds -
drums and vocals, Jay Taylor - guitar.

J: First of all some political questions. Obviously
you're dead set against hunting, right? As you're playing
a (hunt sab) benefit.

Jay: Depends on what we're hunting. (laughs)

J: If you had the choice what would your cure be
for all the people who want to go hunting and ripping
foxes up?

John: Maybe we should set the hounds on them,
shouldn't we?  (laughs) What do you mean cure?
Basically they're just sad rich people aren't they?

Jay: They should just admit to they reasons they
want to do it, 'cos like that pest control thing, it
just doesn't wash. That's just bullshit, they should just
admit they like careering accross the countryside on
a horse and watching something get torn to pieces.

John: We were thinking of doing an inner
city hunt and seeing how long we could get away with
it, you know there's more foxes in the cities
now - if you got on a horse and galloped around a city -
see how fast the police come and stop you doing
it. 'Cos in the countryside they gallop through people's
gardens and you can't stop them, if you did it in the
suburbs I wonder what they would say about it?
You see a lot of foxes in the city now, and the foxes in
the cities are smaller than the foxes in the country 'cos
they're little raggedy buggers eating out of dustbins
aren't they? (laughs)  We don't want these damn foxes,
they can sling their hook and get back out in
the countryside again!

Rob: We could make it more interesting. 'Cos it's just
about bloodlust I think they should be open about that
and say, "we just like tearing something to pieces",
which is fair enough, so therefore we could come after
them, like say with tanks. (laughs) It's the same
principle, it's just a way of nature, they enjoy it, so...

Jay: What's that John Woo movie? Like the really shit
one, the Jean Claude Van Damme one? That follows  a
similar theme...

Jay: No that's the John Travolta one....The John Woo
one -  Hard Target.
