PAYMENT OPTIONS For those with patience, here they are all explained. |
Credit or debit card is the quickest and easiest way to pay. If a price is shown for the currency your card operates in, you pay no currency conversion charges. Just go to the page describing the book and click the red button below your preferred major currency. You will then be charged the usual bookshop price shown, in your chosen currency. If the currency is one for which we use PayPal (British Pounds, Canadian dollars, Yen, or euro) they may also charge you a one-off fee of less than two British pounds for allowing you to join PayPal. (PayPal membership lasts forever.) If your card operates in a currency not listed on the page describing the book, please use the US dollars button. The price will then be automatically converted and a small conversion charge made by the card company (but there will be no PayPal joining charge). (b) Cheque or Postal Order Please note that we can accept cheques and postal orders only from the following countries: UK, USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Please send your cheque or postal order made out to "Jim Rickman" to the UK address at the bottom of this page and allow about three weeks for delivery from your date of posting (less in the UK). If you also e-mail us your postal address, that will speed things up. Prices for cheque and postal order purchases are the same as bookshop prices. You pay nothing for packing and postage. JIM'S GUIDE TO AUSTRALIA: £17 / US$30 / Can$35 / Aust$40 / NZ$45 THAILAND ORACLE: £15 / US$25 / Can$30 / Aust$30 / NZ$30 JAPAN FOR THE IMPOVERISHED: £15 / US$25 / Can$30 / Aust$33 / NZ$35 JAPAN FOR BUSINESSMAN AND JOB-HUNTER: £10 / US$20 / Can$25 / Aust$25 / NZ$30 (c) Cash This is risky, of course, and the risk is yours. If you choose to send cash, send only paper money, wrap it well and post to the UK address at the bottom of this page, advising us of your postal address at the same time by e-mail. Use the prices above, and make up any odd amounts which cannot be sent by paper money by using postage stamps. If your country is not on the list above, contact us first to find the amount payable. Our experience is that cash, if well disguised, usually arrives safely, but remember that you take the risk of loss in the post. (d) Bank Transfer This is possible in the UK, USA, Canada, Japan, Australia and New Zealand. Contact us first for details, letting us know your postal address. From other countries it is likely to be too expensive.
Please note that we are no longer able to receive messages sent to "bizland" e-mail addresses. |
