formula 1

What better way to spend your Sunday afternoon in the garden watching 20 cars rip round a track? Getting up at 5 in the morning to catch the Melbourne and Japanese races is great fun too (it's much worse in Australia, where every race is on at 11pm and even then it's not live!). It's just not the same watching the re-runs.

Although F1 hasn't been the same since the likes of Berger, Prost and the great Senna fought it out, F1 still has a lot to offer spectators. I must admit that I'm not much of a Schumacher fan (neither of the two) and therefore welcome drivers such as Montoya and Raikonen who don't give in easily to Schumacher Snr. And with manufactures such as Toyota coming into the fray, things should heat up even more.
