And no more wasting money on the farce that is the National Lottery (How did Richard Branson not get the licence to run it???!!). You can now try your luck on thousands of competitions on the net - far more convenient, quicker and no need for stamps! And you don't even have to go out to look for them - there are dedicated competition websites (sad but true!), some of which categorise prizes, which may prove handy if you're after the latest DVD box set of Friends (keep taking those pills...). NB Many of these sites will have many like-minded visitors, and the chances of how lucky you are depend on the sites popularity. Obviously the more competitions you enter, the better your chances are (Obvious to some...). There's better things to do than trawl the net hours on end for competitions, but I have been known to enter a couple. My best prize so far was an all paid expenses trip to the Euro 2000 semi final in Brussels (France 1 - Portugal 0). Scratch & Match www.scratchandmatch.com - This is an online scratch card game by the same people who run The Daily Draw. To launch your scratch card you have to click on an ad banner. You then scratch off 12 panels out of 25 in an attempt to find the stars, there are 15 stars and 10 blanks. If you reveal 12 stars you’re a winner. The top prize is £100,000 and you can play twice a day. This is another good little game and although I am yet to win that 100k prize I would still highly recommend this one.
